We took a short ferry ride from Discovery Bay over to Peng Chau and the difference was very dramatic. This Island was much poorer and more authentic, more what you would think of China being. The area was small but there was three little Budhist temples and the houses were small and old. No cars here it was all bikes.
Its hard to see the car park in this building but it is full of bikes. Notice the laundry hanging outside the windows, they even to this where we live outside there windows in the high rises.
