Nan Lian Gardens

When ever we get a day to go see something new we go. This is the first of these adventures we have done with the replacement couple for the Area Doctor. This is Elder and Sister Heiner. They are a wonderful addition to the group. Sister Alley also joined us for the day. This is a "must see" if you come to Hong Kong. Like most parks in HK it is free. Every tree is crafted and controlled. Absolutely beautiful. Kelly loved the rocks and now has dreams of what she might do with her backyard when we return.
Right beside the garden you will find a Buddhist Nunnery which was spectacular. This is where the lotus flowers are found and in circled by large Buddha statues. While we were there we watched numerous people praying to Buddha. When you look at their signs you will see many words we use such as "celestial". Often I think while it looks very different there are many similarities.
