We had the opportunity to attend the temple this week with the Smiths before they headed for home. As you would expect a beautiful building. It was much larger than I expected. Currently it houses the mission and temple Presidents and the mission offices are in the building. The second building you can see is located directly across the street. July 4th they dedicate this building. It has a full chapel/classrooms/Bishop offices in it. It will also have all church distribution and mission offices in it. On the top floor it has room to sleep about 50 people at a time that are there to attend the temple. Many travel from many miles around to this building. You can also see that the round window in the building was designed to keep those that attend focused on the temple. On our way home we traveled across the bay via a 10 minute boat ride.
